      Question... ive heard from jeff cavalier from athlean x that the key to engaging ur glutes during squats is to break parallel at the bottom of the movement. I see that u are using a bench which would prevent sitting lower than parallel. Can u address this?

      Can I ask why in a programme aimed towards hypertrophy is there a set of an exercise (hip thrust) based on 20 reps? With greater neural fatigue surely you will be recruiting greater type I muscles fibres not associated with size but more with endurance. . . I am just wondering and interested.

Have you consdiered/have an opinion on performing hip abduction on the seated machine without resting on the seat (lifting your bum off the slight by an inch + the same exercise)? Personally I find it engages the glutes more!

      If you are able to squat 250kg, your glute should be big and powerful. So, just run for 250kg squat.

        Alley Trahan I had this problem as well. What helped was to be in a sumo position instead and fully sit down before firing back up
