My gym is kinda scary it’s pure guys at the weights. It’s really intimidating also starting and not knowing if I have the right form 😥 but I’ve been going to the gym lol slowing inching closer to the weights
It’s been 4 months so I hope you overcame your fear! If not then keep trying, almost everyone at the gym is focused on themselves so you got nothing to worry about. God luck on your journey 👍

Watch Brett Contera's updated thrust for form, your sternum is moving too much with leverage from the scaps, by his own admission this is not optimal. Only your hips should move.

Hi Stephanie! How many calories do you aim to burn per work out? I used to aim for around 500 but since doing your ham/gluten program I’ve been burning less per work out. Not that I’m not tired, just noticed and wondered if I should be building in other exercises to up the burn? Much love xxxx

Can I ask why in a programme aimed towards hypertrophy is there a set of an exercise (hip thrust) based on 20 reps? With greater neural fatigue surely you will be recruiting greater type I muscles fibres not associated with size but more with endurance. . . I am just wondering and interested.

Great channel, always like learning more on here - thanks @Stephanie! Have you consdiered/have an opinion on performing hip abduction on the seated machine without resting on the seat (lifting your bum off the slight by an inch + the same exercise)? Personally I find it engages the glutes more!

If you are able to squat 250kg, your glute should be big and powerful. So, just run for 250kg squat.

Alley Trahan I had this problem as well. What helped was to be in a sumo position instead and fully sit down before firing back up
