      this is my second week with your free split workout i didn't feel the burn in my glute bridge this time i did it with 35 kg just like the first week it burns the first week but this week didn't i felt it more in my hamstring and then i increased the weight to 40kg i felt it burn but i only could do 2 reps and i couldn't handle the weight too so what is the reason for me not to feel the burn in my glutes any tips?

      I was just standing in my living room, in my pajamas, trying the RDLs as you explained proper form. They're part of my butt routine, and sometimes I feel them in my glutes, most times in my lower back. (side note - I'm pre-arthritic in my lower spine, and if I don't do regular planks/ab exercises, my back is the first to suffer) I like doing the RDLs because when I feel them, I FEEL THEM, so I don't want to have to cut them from my routine..but if my back keeps hurting, I'm going to have to. Thanks for always taking the time to show proper form, it helps those of us who are working out without a professional IMMENSELY. (Btw, I'm down 86 lbs)

      I have hurt my back doing RDLs before (2 years ago or so) even though I am focusing on glute/ham pull. I am careful now to focus on holding the straight spine on every rep, keeping my core tight and not using too heavy of a weight. My working theory as of last night is that my core is just so weak that just holding my spine straight is difficult for my lower back muscles...does that sound feasible, theoretically speaking (I should probably visit a trainer eh?)
